Healthier Barrington Surveys

In order to improve the quality of life in the Barrington Area, the Healthier Barrington coalition conducted a needs assessment survey every three years from 1996-2017 and now every 5 years to better understand how our community is living, what we value most, and where we can improve. Questions span a wide range of topics, including life in our community, overall health, healthcare needs, economic conditions, the needs of our youth, the environment, social service needs, COVID-19, and more.

The feedback gathered from the surveys and focus groups help to drive priorities as well as provide valuable information to member organizations and others. The results lead to the creation of new programs, initiatives, and positive change to enhance life in the Barrington area and component communities, making them healthier places to live, work, and play.
